Title IV, Part A

Dear Western Middle School Parents and Guardians,

We need your help!

We're excited to enhance student achievement by reviewing our Title IV, Part A program for the upcoming school year! Your input truly matters to us. Please take a moment to complete a brief survey, which will help us evaluate our current initiatives and guide us towards meaningful improvements. Title IV, Part A, which is part of the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA), is also known as the Student Support and Academic Enrichment (SSAE) Grant. Its primary goal is to boost students' academic success by providing flexible funding for programs tailored to student needs. Here at Western Middle School, we use these funds to support a dedicated learning lab paraprofessional. This role significantly enhances student success by improving the quality of education, enhancing learning environments, and promoting the integration of technology. The paraprofessional is here to offer academic assistance, both in classrooms and online, with a specific focus on the needs of students in advanced, accelerated, or virtual programs.

Along with questions about our Title IV program, we’re excited to gather your thoughts on important elements of our District Strategic Plan. Your feedback is invaluable and will greatly influence the vital goals and priorities for our wonderful school community as we move forward together!

Please complete the survey by clicking on this link:  Strategic Plan and Title IV Funding Survey.

These resources offer valuable insights into how we collaborate with families to promote academic success and foster a positive school environment.

We truly appreciate your time, input, and collaboration. Together, we can continue to ensure the best possible educational experiences for our students.

Thank you for your ongoing support!

Sincerely,

Western Middle School
